Reliance has chosen Ahmedabad to start its wholesale store that would cater to establishments including neighbourhood grocery stores, hotels and restaurants. The first wholesale store in Ahmedabad will be operational in August this year, under the brand name Reliance Market. The company that claims to have the most diversified portfolio in terms of retail formats may be testing water in a market it knows well. Well, the new development plan of RIL in the retail front will bring new respite to the signage companies involving extensively in in-shop display and graphics activities.
