Red Chief plans for store expansion in tier-I and metros

Eyeing a turnover of around Rs 270 crore in FY-17, footwear major Red Chief has started its mission to expand its footprints in tier-I and metro cities across the country. The brand has already a substantial presence in the non-tier I markets. In the tier-II and III markets, Red Chief accounts for nearly 80 percent of the company’s turnover and 20 per cent is from tier-I markets. According to a source from the company, the mix will see a change in the coming days with 40 per ent of its turnover coming from tier-I markets and the remaining from tier-II and others. Big store expansion plan of Red Chief is an added business opportunity for the signage companies whose jobs involve in in-store branding and such tasks.
