Plantronics plans to go pan India

US-based communication headsets maker Plantronics plans to more than double its sales point to 10,000 in India by next year. The company has a dealer network of close to 4,000 in the country currently. It is also selling its products through large-format retail chains such as Reliance, Croma and Mobile Store. The company currently occupies 2-3 percent share of the domestic headsets retail market, which is largely dominated by players such as Nokia and Samsung. Target of the company at this point in time is to have a pan-India presence since they are present only in select top cities such as Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. Pan India expansion of Plantronics is an unmatched opportunity for the signage companies involving in business in the retail sector.
