Pepperfry aims to open 20 new offline stores by March 2021

Online furniture company Pepperfry is betting big on its offline stores known as Studio Pepperfry and is keen to expand the outlets to the smaller towns of the country. The company takes franchise route to expand its offline presence, the kind of revenues the stores generate, and the changes adopted by the company to tackle the COVID-19 situation. In 2014, the company launched it first Studio Pepperfry, to be available and serve our customers wherever they are online or offline. At present, Pepperfry has 60 experiential centres in 20 cities across the country, out of which 18 are owned and operated by franchisees. The company is looking at expanding its Studio footprint to Tier-II and Tier-III markets and they aim to open at least 20 more FOFO Studios in Tier II cities and beyond by March 2021. Signage players must garb this new business opportunity emerging in the retail domain these days.
