Steelcase, one of the largest US-based office furniture manufacturers, has inaugurated its first dealership outlet in India at Ahmedabad. Going forward, the company plans to open more such outlets under dealership model in other cities like Chandigarh. Present since the past one decade in India, Steelcase has its own showrooms at Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. In Gujarat, the company is looking at garnering business from pharmaceutical and finance sectors. Surfacing of such high-end stores in the retail domain is a sunshine opportunity to for the signage companies whose activities revolve around in-store signage and display jobs.
