Myntra plans to introduce physical stores

In 2015, Myntra has planned to open physical stores across the country to boost its private labels, even as talks of the fashion portal’s merger with Flipkart continue. The company is likely to continue as a standalone fashion brand even after its expected merger with Flipkart. Which is why the company has been beefing up efforts to promote its flagship private label casual wear line — Roadster. In March, the fashion portal signed up Ogilvy India Worldwide to manage brand-building exercise for its own fashion lines. Myntra’s new move towards the opening of physical stores will be an added advantage for the signage players whose activities revolve around in-shop branding, displays and related tasks.
