Mutoh and Avery Dennison have joined hands for the newly introduced Avery Dennison TrafficJet system offering faster printing and less ink consumption and it has an integrated dryer. Simplified machine operation via a new touchscreen panel helps speed up workflow, while cartridge waste is reduced and ink capacity can be increased with bulk ink supply. TrafficJet Xpert’s integrated dryer enables high-speed production up to 162 sq ft/hr. Ink levels are easily managed with indicator LED lights and unified ink feed on one side of the printer.
Roll feed stability in Avery Dennison TrafficJet system is improved with new upgraded media feed flanges and large print jobs can be wound tightly-to-core with new 40kg continuous torque take-up with selectable high or low torque settings. Printhead life of the machine is maximised with new True Traffic Color spot ink configurations using two channels for black, allowing the print load to be split between two channels. Avery Dennison and Mutoh say the operator experience helps to set the TrafficJet Xpert apart from other digital large-format systems.
