Mimaki has announced the launch of a new media line called Mimaki Vision, which includes gloss vinyl variants: Mimaki Vision Vinyl, Mimaki Vision Laminate and Mimaki Vision Laminate 310. The development of Mimaki Vision completes the company’s already vast portfolio of print service provider solutions. Currently, Mimaki, apart from its array of printers, cutting plotters, hardware, software, also manufactures consumable items, such as inks and cutting blades. Mimaki Vision Vinyl print media is engineered with strong dimensional stability and low shrinkage. It offers strong adhesive force, leaving behind little residue after removal.
Additionally, Mimaki Vision Vinyl enables excellent colour developing with Mimaki original inks, providing exceptional weatherability. Its two-sided PE coating liner prevents moisture absorption. Mimaki Vision Laminate is designed specifically for solvent printers to be paired with Mimaki Vision Vinyl, enhancing the stability and low shrinkage benefits. Then, the Mimaki Vision Laminate 310 is a laminate film with a gloss finish designed for Mimaki UV inks. It can also be used for solvent and latex printing.
