Metro Cash & Carry indigenising stores

Metro Cash & Carry is now changing gears in India by localising the format of its new stores, after a decade in operations with 15 stores in the country. The German-headquartered company, which has cumulatively invested over Rs 1,400 crore in India, is launching mid-size multi-specialist stores in a bid to target specific consumer needs in mature markets such as Bengaluru. Such a new avatar of the company emerging out with new store-format will be an added advantage for the signage companies dealing in in-shop designs, displays and other related activities.
