Mehta Cad Cam Systems has launched India’s first smart fiber laser metal cutting machine, Gloria B Series, which is IoT (Internet of Things) based as per Industry 4.0. Today, Industry 4.0 is revolutionising the industry and processing to increase efficiency. It connects machines, work pieces and systems and creates intelligent network. This enables machines, devices, sensors and people to connect and communicate with each other via IoT.
To improve operational efficiency, Mehta Cad Cam Systems has implemented Industry 4.0 by connecting laser cutting machine to single platform, gathering data of different parts and operation of the machine continuously and using them for quick service support, understanding performance of different parts and providing preventive actions to increase uptime or decrease downtime of the machine. It maximises efficiency of the machine and ultimately helps customer get more profits. Mehta boasts of its Smart Laser Machine – Gloria B Series; Smart Software – Trooper Cutting Software; and Smart Remote Care – IoT. The company’s team has developed sensors and installed them in laser cutting machine.
