McDonald’s plans to expand its presence in the country from the current 161 (year ended March 31, 2013) restaurants to 250 by FY 2015. Hardcastle Restaurants, the company that operates and manages McDonald’s restaurants in South and West India, will engage approximately 12,500 employees across the region by FY 2015. The company currently has 313 restaurants across the country of which 152 are located in North and East.
