After a successful stint across metropolitan and Tier 1 cities, fast food restaurant chain McDonald’s India is eyeing smaller cities and rural areas. The company expects half of its revenues to come from such areas in the coming years. The company will initially increase presence at highways that connect larger cities. A restaurant at the highways would ensure a regular stream of its loyal customers from the cities and help create awareness around the locality about our brand and food offerings. Now, surging of such global restaurant chain in the rural areas would bring advantage to the signage companies based in big cities to reach new destinations.
