Marks & Spencer plans to go up to 100 outlets in two years

UK’s leading retail brand Marks & Spencer (M&S) has witnessed 13 percent growth in sales in India compared to a year ago and the company is planning to go up to 100 outlets in two years. Globally, annual profit fell for a third year due to a drop in clothes’ sales. This retail chains has 40 stores in India and it is operating in a JV with Reliance Retail.M&S entered some Tier-II locations last year, such as Kochi, Kanpur and Surat. Such a move of the MNC in the subcontinent will bring in a fresh business for the signage companies, viz. PSPs, sign makers, fabricators and others dealing in in-shop displays, designs, etc.
