Leading kidswear brand from Malaysia, Poney has entered the Indian market with collaboration with Ajanta International, looking forwards to big store expansion. The company is now looking ahead to opening 25 stores in the next few years. Ajanta, the master franchisee for the brand in India, is targeting a turnover of Rs 100-150 crore in five years from the brand. The company’s target zone is the country’s Tier-II and Tier-II towns and such visible growth in the retail domain is an added business lead for the signage companies whose activities involve in-store fabrications and branding.
