The recently introduced Kodak Premium Rapid-Dry White Film, Matte/5 mil is perfect for displays that require opacity. Light shining from behind does not detract from the graphics due to a back coating that blocks the light, providing full opacity. The most common application where a truly opaque graphic film makes a difference is with banner stands. Regardless of the lighting situation, this film ensures that one won’t see the hardware behind the display or lose any of the image’s impact.
This new Kodak premium rapid-dry white film is a lay-flat water-resistant polyester with a bright-white printable surface that maximizes colour fidelity and accuracy. Compatible with dye and pigmented inks, it won’t smudge or show fingerprints, and is also scratch and abrasion-resistant. This film can be laminated using thermal and pressure-sensitive films, but does not require lamination for short-term applications. This film is available through BMG’s worldwide reseller network in 36″, 42″ and 50″ widths on 100′ roll lengths.
