To be consistent with a sustainable approach, KIIAN’s Digistar Bellagio RJM has passed all the tests, achieving the ECO PASSPORT certification: 20EP00002. The first installation of RJM in India has achieved extremely positive feedback. According to a source from KIIAN, the customer has noticed a better colour yield and a reduction of the required cleaning. The secret is a mix of research, deep knowledge of the digital textile printing process and experience in engineering and the inks manufacturing process.
KIIAN has been working closely with its partners to reach a high level of yield chemical reaction to produce reactive dyes (≥98 percent), limiting the formation of secondary products (≥ 2 percent), which influences purity and colour brightness. The starting point is the high quality base raw material by the highest degree of purity. This is an indispensable criterion determining stability, printability and colour performances. The electrolytes content in the ink, above all chlorides and sulphate, significantly influences stability, printability and lower wear of printheads. Chloride and sulphate content in Bellagio RJM is very low compared to other inks.
