Kiian Digital is now set to launch its Digistar range of water-based inks for the soft signage and textile printing at the FESPA 2015 in Cologne. This new ink range is compatible with most major brands of machines in the textile digital industry and the company has worked closely with a number of these companies to ensure they can offer a solution that works seamlessly with their machines. The new range includes Digistar WR-500, a water-based multi-purpose sublimation transfer ink compatible with the Ricoh Gen 5 printhead and is said to offer ‘high chromatic performance and colour concentration, good general fastness and excellent release (transfer) capacity, with no risk labelling required’.
Digistar Air is also a sublimation transfer ink, compatible with Ricoh printheads and developed for printing onto light and/or low coated papers. Digistar Tune sublimation ink has been developed for direct printing using Ricoh printheads, while Digistar Tex-R is Kiian’s new water-based pigment ink for direct printing. Also to be unveiled by the company during the expo will also include new fluorescent colours for its most popular Digistar ink ranges the HD-One, HI-Pro and K-One series.
