KFC has opened its latest outlet at Rustomjee Azziano, Majiwada in Thane. Sapphire Food is one of the two companies that run the Yum! Brands that owns KFC in India, the other being Devyani International Ltd. KFC has been aggressively expanding its footprint across the country. In December last year, it opened its 1000th store at DLF Cyber Hub in Gurugram, which was also the brand’s first restaurant in India with 100 percent table service. Gradual retail footprint expansion move of KFC is an added business opportunity for the signage companies engaging in in-store graphics, designs, displays, etc.
