Kolkata-based Kalyan Jewellers forayed into eastern India for the first time with the launch of the inaugural showroom in Odisha at Bhubaneswar. The company is investing Rs 60 crore in the new store, which is spread across an area of 15,000 sq ft. The showroom will offer over two lakh contemporary and traditional gold and diamond designs curated by some of the best artisans from across the country. The showroom will also feature popular and exquisite Kalyan gold collections from Sankalp, Tamas and Florets, and diamonds from Anokhi, Antara, Hera and Sinor Solitaire range. Gradual expansion in the retail sector with the gradual unveiling of new outlets will bring in fresh business impetus to signage players dealing in in-shop designs, displays, branding and related activities.
