Two well-known brands— Fabindia and Hidesign—have announced the launch of their first ever joint location store in Chennai. The flagship store, located in Pondy Bazaar, T Nagar, is part of the Smart City project. Spread across 5000 plus sq ft on the ground and first floor, Fabindia is showcasing its apparel and select home & lifestyle offerings, with Hidesign highlighting its sustainable vegetable tanned leather goods which are handcrafted at their ateliers in Puducherry. Opening of new format stores like Fabindia and Hidesign joint outlets is a new business opportunity for the signage companies which engage in in-store signage and branding projects.
