Jaya Shree Textiles, a unit of Aditya Birla Nuvo, will focus on linen fabrics to drive growth and has drawn up plans to open more stores across the country. According to a source from the company, they want to focus on linen garments. The company factory located at Rishra in West Bengal is the only integrated mill for manufacturing linen garments in the country. Out of the Rs 1,500-crore turnover of the company, Rs 800 crore is from linen while the balance Rs 700 crore from wool. With a total of 127 stores, the company plans to raise the number to 134 by the end of this FY, adding 40 more by the next fiscal. Such expansion move of the company is an added business for the signage companies dealing in in-shop displays, designs and related activities.
