ISD’11 Expo concludes with overwhelming response

A focused event, designed in order to stage a compact presentation of the Indian signage industry, India Sign + Digital 2011 Expo (ISD ’11) held from May 13-15, 2011 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi concluded with overwhelming responses from both exhibitors and visitors. Big companies like Hewlett Packard (HP), Canon, AT Inks, Agfa, Negi Sign Systems & Supplies, Apsom Technologies, Apsom Infotex, 3M, among others put on display their innovative range of digital large-format machines as well as ground-breaking technologies. More than 8,500 visitors from different parts of the country thronged the event. The expo’s unique presentation in the form of four ‘Experience Zones’ carrying out live demos of vehicle wraps and others impressed everyone a lot.

“ISD’11 was an interesting avenue for us to be part of and showcase our flagship range of Scitex wide-format and Designjet large-format printers for the print service providers community,” said Puneet Chadha, Director – Graphic Solutions Business-Imaging & Printing Groups, HP India. Canon India took the opportunity to introduce their Océ Arizona 360 GT wide format UV cured flatbed printer during the show. Rajeev Tiwari, Director, Wide-format Imaging Division remarked that the first edition of ISD’11 had been a unique show of its kind in India, which attracted prospective visitors.
