HP Latex 1500 super-wide format printer has found its first taker in India at Chennai. That’s Signage Graphics which installs the 3.2m latex printer designed for PVC banners, self-adhesive vinyl, wall paper, canvas, textile, among others. Capable to run at 750 sq ft/hr in outdoor production mode and up to 450 sq ft/hr in indoor mode, HP Latex 1500 features with in-line slitters, a roll-to-freefall device, allowing users to start finishing initial prints while the job is still in progress.
Also, HP Latex 1500 features double-sided day-night kit that enables users to automatically print double-sided backlit applications. In his remark on the new HP printer, A Nagaraj, founder, Signage Graphics, said they have satisfactory experience with HP and this new printer would help them able to go ‘green’ using latex ink. He appreciated the after-sale service of Insight Communications that supplies HP machines in the region.
