Global leader in direct-to-object printing technology Inkcups is set to showcase the versatility of direct-to-object printing for promotional products at PPAI Expo 2026, which is set to organise from January 13-15 at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Visitors to the Inkcups booth will be able to learn more about the capabilities of direct-to-object printing, and learn about how Inkcups customers in the promotional products industry are using direct-to-object technology to transform their business. At the expo, Inkcups will demonstrate the company’s recently launched X5-T High Throw UV flatbed printer, which features Inkcups’ new ‘High Throw’ technology.
High Throw enhancement to the already popular X5-T flatbed direct-to-object digital printer significantly increases the ink throw distance between the printhead and the substrate, enabling high-quality, accurate, full-colour prints on contoured, rounded, slightly curved and irregularly shaped objects, such as mugs with handles, tiered drinkware, and sporting equipment. The X5-T was already known for its ability to print on items up to 19.7 inches (500mm) tall with the addition of a drop table, but the addition of High Throw technology enhances its performance and affirms it as an ideal solution for complex applications in the promotional print market.
