Swedish furniture retailer IKEA will invest Rs 3,000 crore in Maharashtra over the long-term to set up multi-format stores as well as experience centres. Initially, the company had earmarked Rs 10,500 crore to open about 25 stores in the country by 2025. Now that the company has been working to open a few stores, after that they plan to increase the investments in the state going forward. Opening of IKEA stores in the state is an added business advantage for the signage companies whose activities involve in in-store branding, designs and graphics.
