IKEA selects four states for its phase I roll out

Swedish retail major IKEA Group has identified four states viz. Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka, to set up single-brand retail stores as part of its Rs 10,500-crore investment in India. The company commerce and industry minister Anand Sharma of the group’s business plans. Such boost in the retail sector of the country through such arrival of the multinational retail biggie would bring in a fresh business opportunity for the signage companies dealing in in-shop displays and others related activities.
