Swedish home furnishings retailer IKEA has opened its first store in Pune. The flagship store is opened at Phoenix Marketcity Viman Nagar. The store features over 1,900 products, of which around 1,700 are available for immediate takeaway, while an additional 4,500 products can be ordered. Customers can explore curated room settings, use digital tools to plan spaces, and receive support ranging from interior planning to home furnishing advice. The store also includes a Swedish Café offering IKEA classics along with locally inspired treats. IKEA said its product selection for the city has been shaped by insights from six years of online operations in Pune, during which it has served around 400,000 customers.
