Swedish retailer H&M is planning to entering four new cities in India—Nagpur, Kochi, Jalandhar, and Dehradun. The new stores in the cities are set to open at TMS Prestige in Kochi, Trillium Mall in Nagpur, Pinnacle Plaza in Dehradun and Jalandhar’s Model Town. H&M currently operates 42 stores across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Amritsar, Indore, Coimbatore, Kolkata, Mohali, Mysore, Ahmedabad. The new stores in the four cities will be of more than 65,000 sq ft and it will sell clothing and accessories for women, men, teenagers and kids. HM’s new strategy for new stores in new cities will bring new business opportunity for the signage companies handling in-store branding and signage projects in the regions.
