H&M aims at foraying into four new cities

Swedish fashion retailer H&M will open four more stores in India, entering four new markets—Nagpur, Kochi, Jalandhar, and Dehradun. The new stores are set to open at TMS Prestige in Kochi, Trillium Mall in Nagpur, Pinnacle Plaza in Dehradun and Jalandhar’s Model Town. H&M currently operates 42 stores across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Amritsar, Indore, Coimbatore, Kolkata, Mohali, Mysore, Ahmedabad. The new stores will be of more than 65,000 sq ft and it will sell clothing and accessories for women, men, teenagers and kids. HM’s new strategy for new stores in four cities will bring new business opportunity for the signage companies handling in-store branding and signage projects.
