The government of Himachal Pradesh has given its consent to implement multi-brand retail trading in the state, the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), under the Commerce and Industry Ministry. So far only 10 other states and union territories have agreed to allow foreign direct investment (FDI) in multi-brand retail. Such positive move of Himachal Pradesh is a green signal which signage companies in the region can tap as new business activities revolving around in-store display, design and others related projects.
