Hermes would be the first international luxury brand to introduce concept of high street outlets in India. This 170-year-old French luxury brand is best known for its scarves, neckties and Birkin handbags. The Rs 105,956 million Hermes International, which holds 51 percent in its India operations with Neelam Khanna, is buoyant about India’s luxury industry that, according to a recent market report on Luxury market in India, is growing at 25 percent a year. Surging of the high-end Hermes outlet in the country would bring in a new business opportunity for the in-store signage players engaging in different activities in the sector.
