Hamleys, one of the leading UK-based toy stores, that entered India through a partnership with Reliance Lifestyle Holdings, has opened a flagship store in Kolkata and now eying its presence in the top 25 cities of the country soon. Stores will be in malls only. According to a company source, the stores will be located only when the company gets the ‘right spots’. At present, Hamleys has 14 stores across eight cities around the country. The strategic expansion move of Hamleys will bring in some fresh business opportunity that signage players engaging in in-shop branding, displays, designs and the like will able to tap for new projects.
