Gourmet foods retailer Godrej Nature’s Basket has expanded its retail footprint with the opening of three new outlets, taking the company’s total number of current physical stores to 36. The new stores have been launched in the key growing markets of Gurgaon, Pune and Mumbai. Over the last one year, the chain has expanded some of its existing stores in key markets moving to larger spaces. Through its new omni-channel strategy, Nature’s Basket is looking to tap into new emerging markets across India. As a result, the orders are widely spread catering to tier-II and tier-III cities. Such boost in the retail domain with the gradual unveiling of retail outlets will be an added business opportunity for the signage companies dealing in in-shop designs, displays and related activities, such as ‘branding’.
