GAP Inc, the $16.4-billion clothing, accessories and personal care products major, has set plan to launch 10 new stores in Bengaluru, Mumbai and New Delhi over the next one year, after it opened its first one in New Delhi. The company is planning to come up with 40 stores in the next four years. Out of these, 10 stores will be set up by mid of next year. Each store will entail an investment of Rs 8-10 crore. Now is the right time for the signage companies to hit the path leading to new business high as high-end retail brands keep unveiling stores that require chic in-shop branding, designs, displays and graphics.
