Future Group, led by Kishore Biyani, is now gearing up for a major expansion of its southern supermarket chain Nilgiris. The retail chain is planning to adding more products and taking the store count to 1,000 in next three years. The group, which had acquired the Bengaluru-based chain in 2014, is also launching new products in bakery and is strengthening its portfolio. The company is now revamping the chains and opening new stores, expanding the Nilgiris capacity. Launching of new products in the company’s bakery segment and opening of new Nilgiris stores will be an added business opportunity for the signage firms whose activities involve in-shop branding, designs and related tasks.
