Leading home furniture major Pepperfry is now planning to open 20 showrooms across 11 Indian cities in the next four years. The company plans to open its first ‘Studio Pepperfry’ in Mumbai and will open 20 stores in 11 cities by year-end, starting in May this year. The next showroom will be in Bengaluru and followed by others in NCR, Hyderabad and Pune. Studio Pepperfry is a concept showroom manned by designers that will feature Pepperfry furniture to serve as design inspiration for the customer before they ultimately make the purchase online. Globally, the online to offline (O2O) commerce model is gaining traction globally these days. And unveiling of such big MNC showrooms across major cities will bring in fresh business leads to signage players whose main activities are revolved around in-shop branding, designs, displays, etc.
