Started as a Parisian tea room in 1862 by Louis Ernest Ladurée and opened a baker on 16th Avenue Royale in Paris today has about 40 restaurants and tea rooms and 107 stores in 21 countries including the US, the UK, Japan, UAE, Canada, among other nations. Now, the high-end French baker and sweet maker Laduree is making its India debut and plans to open its first outlet in New Delhi next year. Arrival of high-end companies in the retail domain of the country is a new business opportunity for the signage companies engaging in in-store branding and display projects.
