Known for its range of watches as well as non-watch products like leather bags for women and men, wallets, eye-wear and jewellery through its retail outlets in the country, Fossil is widely acclaimed brand in India and the company is planning to invest huge to open new retail outlets in the country. The move is the company’s attempt to re-position itself from a watch brand to a fashion lifestyle brand. The company will focus on developing non-watch categories and sell these products only through retail stores, which they are planning to open 25 outlets by 2017 and will invest Rs 35-40 crore. Such expansion plan of the company will offer new business opportunities for the signage companies engaging in-shop branding, designs and related tasks.
