Fisher Textiles’ new innovative fabrics made of recycled polyester

Fisher Textiles, a world’s leading supplier of fabrics for digital printing, has recently launched several new fabric solutions, which are made of recycled polyester materials. The new printable fabrics are listed here: DD7788 Perfect Knit—this is designed for both transfer and direct print. It is ideal for a wide range of soft signage applications, including SEG, banners, table throws, and more. This 6.8 oz/sqyd flame-retardant fabric is stocked at 126″ wide. DD5361 Ten—this is a durable, waterproof outdoor fabric developed for canopy tents and golf umbrellas. Suitable for transfer and direct print, it is stocked 126″ wide and weighs 8 oz/sqyd.

GF8875 Dimmer—this is s a three-layer, 100 percent polyester fabric with a layer of black fabric in the middle, making it almost completely opaque and allowing for double sided transfer printing. Stocked 125” wide, it weighs 6.9 oz/sqyd and is flame retardant. ET9608 Power Stretch is the recycled version of GF4608 Power Stretch. This stretch fabric is made from 90 percent post-consumer recycled polyester and 10 percent spandex. Likewise, ET9848 EZ Stretch Premium is the recycled version of GF9048 EZ Stretch. This fabric is made from 100 percent post-consumer recycled polyester and contains about 49 recycled 500ml bottles per linear yard. Fisher Textiles continues to expand its sustainable product line by incorporating recycled polyester, which helps divert PET bottles from landfills, lowers energy consumption, and conserves the petroleum resources used in producing virgin polyester.
