Italian sportswear brand Fila expects that the decision by German competitor Adidas to reduce the number of its Reebok stores in India will significantly benefit its business as it looks to expand in the country. Fila, which now has 40 stores in India, is planning to set up 60 more stores by the end of 2014 with its Indian licensing partner Cravatex Ltd. Such robust expansion plan of the company would boost the business opportunity of the signage players whose main activities involve into the in-store/in-shop domains.
