Fiberweb Inc has introduced KleanWipes DW wipes, a cleaning wipe designed to remove submicron particles, fibers and chemical residue. Engineered with a double knit 100 percent continuous microdenier polyester filament, KleanWipes DW wipes are absorbent and abrasion resistant. This construction makes KleanWipes DW wipes ideal for general wiping and cleaning sensitive surfaces, such as image areas and inkjet printheads.
The wipes are low-lint and solvent safe to enhance wiping efficiency for clean runs and improved equipment productivity. Laundered and packaged in a Class 10 environment (ISO Class 4) to ensure consistent quality, KleanWipes DW wipes are suitable for Class 100–1,000 cleanrooms. KleanWipes DW wipes remove contaminates such as lint, dust, and oils that can cause defects and delays in finished digital print jobs.
