Furniture retailer, Ethan Allen Interiors Inc plans to enter the Indian market in the next 12 months. The company is aggressively pursuing several international markets including India. And most likely, it is going to be a joint venture (in India) that would operate its own retail as well as licensees as the company has in the US. The company is planning to spend about US$12 million or so (in fiscal 2012) and as they go forward depending upon the opportunities. The company’s robust expansion plan will magnify the existing business opportunity for the in-store signage companies in the sector.
