Japanese electronics firm Pioneer is planning to set up a chain of outlets, which will serve as experience zones, across the country in a store-in-store format to showcase and popularise the company’s car audio systems. Introducing its new range of audio systems targeting both original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and after-market sales and replacement market, senior executives of Panasonic have announced that new range of connected devices facilitate telematics and in-car entertainment. The company currently sources its products made in Thailand for sale in India. But the plan is that they are planning to set up a manufacturing plant in India too. Signage companies engaging in in-store branding and graphic projects must tap the business opportunity emerged from the gradual outlet expansion moves of big corporate players, such as Pioneer.
