A big launch from EFI at the recent Shanghai International AD & Sign Technology & Equipment Exhibition was EFI VUTEk H2000 Pro. This new two-metre EFI VUTEk H2000 Pro printer makes its regional debut at the show provides PSPs with a more-affordable entry point into mid-volume, premium production printing while giving them the option to add features – including white ink, clear varnish and roll-to-roll media handling – as they grow their business. The printer includes EFI’s 7-picolitre greyscale UltraDrop Technology, providing high apparent resolution and excellent text reproduction along with outstanding smoothness in shadows, gradients and transitions.
PSPs can run EFI VUTEk H2000 Pro on rigid, sheet and flexible media up to 51mm thick on the printer, and it offers standard multi-queue functionality for continuous production. Enhanced hybrid vacuum belt technology on the printer optimises substrate feeding. Also, the other exhibits from EFI at the show included the company’s award-winning flagship EFI VUTEk portfolio, the 3.2m, high-volume EFI VUTEk HS100 Pro UV inkjet press featuring automated material loading and unloading systems, along with a material edge guide system for printing corrugated board and other challenging substrates at press rated-speeds.
