Durst updates customers about measures in response to COVID-19 pandemic

Over the last two weeks Durst has shut down its R&D and manufacturing facilities at Brixen in Italy. However, the large-format print systems manufacturer has updated customers about the measures they have introduced in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In a message from the company’s headquarters in Brixen, Christoph Gamper, CEO, Durst Group, said that despite the COVID-19 outbreak, they continue to work as a well-coordinated globally active team. He informed that all Durst branches are active – with restrictions that apply in the respective countries and wherever possible working from homes.

In a series of short podcasts, video messages or live conferences, Durst would show how they connect and maintain strong contact with customers and support their partners. This also includes sharing successes the company has achieved together – despite coronavirus. Durst shut down its R&D and manufacturing facilities in Brixen after an employee tested positive for Covid-19. In an update Christoph said fortunately, Durst has no more cases, and all are doing well. Durst has more than 500 employees worldwide.
