DLF Brands aims to reach 200 Mothercare stores

DLF Brands, which runs 60 Mothercare stores in India, now plans to increase the number of outlets to 200 over the next five years as it believes demand is growing for the British retailer which specialises in products for children and expectant mothers. The company will be adding at least 25 stores every year on average and their goal is to exceed the 200 store mark in the coming five years. The stores will be surfaced across tier I, II and III cities. DLF Brands currently runs Mothercare stores in 25 cities. It also operates stores of other foreign brands such as Mango, Forever 21, DKNY, Sunglass Hut and Claire’s. The big way expansion move of DLF Brands will boost business opportunity of those signage companies whose activities are involved in in-shop branding, displays, designs and related jobs.
