Kerala-based digital retail chain myG is aiming at doubling its turnover to Rs 1000 crore in the current fiscal year. For this the company is planning to add 25 new stores and expand to other southern Indian states, which will make it the first retail chain from Kerala other than jewellery and textiles to venture outside the state. The retail chain engages with 75 retail units selling electronic gadgets mainly mobilephones, laptops and tablets in Kerala. The total investment by the company in the state is Rs 750 crore so far. As myG is gearing up for store network expansion signage players in the region will get fresh business opportunity for in-store branding and graphic projects.
