De Beers gears up for expanding outlets in smaller cities

De Beers, which sells its diamond jewellery through 250 partnered retail stores in the country under the brand Forevermark, has now strong appetite for diamonds in smaller cities. The company plans to increase the stores gradually in those cities by partnering local retailers. Sales during January-June, 2018 remained robust and the overall sales volumes may double as compared to the last year. The company is doing much better with its brand and received 100 percent growth in 2017, hoping to double it in 2018. With such vibrancy in the retail sector where new stores are constantly popping up around, it’s a fresh business opportunity for the signage companies which take up in-store projects.
