Direct Color Systems (DCS), a leading manufacturer of direct to substrate small format printers, has recently introduced a unique line of coated substrates that simultaneously accept DCS’s MultiSolve dye and clear inks in one pass. InkMark substrates allow a bond to be formed between the coating and YMCK and clear inks, providing a more durable image with greater resistance to perfumes and solvents, including 100 percent isopropyl alcohol.
The InkMark line currently consists of PVC sheet stock and pre-cut PVC badge and business card blanks, all in a choice of sizes, as well as laserable engraving materials. All substrates are available in several colours. In addition to name badges and business cards, InkMark coated substrates are also ideal for recognition awards; interior signage; desk plates and door plates; machine tags and labeling; and bag tags.
