Croma, the electronics retail chain run by the Tata Group under its wholly owned subsidiary, Infinity Retail Ltd expects its private labels to contribute 10-12 percent to its total turnover by the end of the current fiscal. Croma at present has 56 stores and hopes to end the year with 75 stores. The company will be investing between Rs 40-50 crore for retail expansion. Croma stores are present in two formats — megastore and small format stores titled Croma Zip. The megastore entails a retail space of over 8,000-14,000 sq feet, while the smaller Zip formats use about 1,500-4,500 sq ft. With the company’s mega expansion plan, companies like in-store signage companies, PSPs, fabricators, etc.
